Aims: To determine the knowledge and practices regarding healthcare-associated infection among healthcare workers to make recommendations based on results prevent infection. Methodology: A descriptive correctional study was conducted in Burn Trauma Center Peshawar, Pakistan. Data were collected from 162 through a questionnaire. universal sampling technique. This permitted by Ethical Review Board of Hayatabad Medical Complex also granted Institute Management Sciences (IM Sciences) Institutional (IRB) Peshawar Knowledge inflectional control determined frequency percentage methods. calculate association between profession, gender knowledge, profession Chi-Square test applied. analyzed SPSS 26 version. Result: The age participants divided into three groups 20-30 years 117 participants, 31-40 39 41-50 are 6 participants. majority Female 101(62.3%) 61 males (37.7%). Nurses 83(51.2%) Doctors 39(24.1%) Paramedics 40(24.7%). doctors good as compared Paramedics, but overall good. show that have Nurses, HealthCare-associated Conclusion: finding showed than Paramedics.
